House Cleaning Startup Market Analyses of GTA – 2

When we were researching the market of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), we hired a few folks to write up a Market Analysis (like this one) remotely. Unfortunately, and maybe not to unexpectedly, we got what we paid for. Anyway, here is one of the cheap market analysis – maybe someone will find it useful…

The first thing to analyze is: which are the best neighborhoods in Toronto to live in.

Points analyzed:

  • Price and quality of housing;
  • Criminality;
  • Traffic;
  • Schools;
  • Jobs;
  • Community
  • Entertainment;
  • Shopping and stores;

10 best neighborhoods, considering the above factors:

  • Runnymede-Bloor West Village;
  • North Riverdale;
  • Mount Pleasant East;
  • Danforth;
  • Lawrence Park North;
  • Rosedale-Moore Park;
  • Playter Estates-Danforth;
  • Trinity Bellwoods;
  • Leaside-Bennington;
  • Yonge-St. Clair;

Best neighborhoods of Toronto

Toronto Downtown

Where a large part of the companies and many tourist spots are concentrated. It is the south of the city, and goes to Lake Ontario. Although Downtown is only a commercial area, many people live here, giving preference to be closer to agitation, commerce and work. The rentals are very expensive.

Yorkville:

The favorite place of the rich and famous in Toronto

High Park:

This is the largest and most famous park in the city. It is considered the Central Park of Toronto and in its surroundings are buildings and houses that attract nature lovers. The closer to Bloor St., the closer to trade and excitement.

Rosedale-Moore Park

On weekends there are options such as soccer games in Rosedale Park, which gather almost 2 thousand small athletes on their lawns (there are plenty of children and parents who would be interested in your cleaning service)

Banbury-Don Mills

The highlight of the neighborhood is Don Mills, an open-air mall with its own network of streets and a central square. The houses are located at varying distances from the main streets, in generous plots, with gardens with many trees.

High Park-Swansea

High Park has 164 hectares that make up an urban paradise full of cyclists, picnic areas, gymnastics fields, a zoo and a giant lake.

Mount Pleasant West

Here it has many buildings and is very busy. Every morning, professionals leave the subways crowded to go to the real center and in the afternoon they return to fill stores and eat Younge Street restaurants.

High Park North

Soon more will be installed condominium buildings with great views to the park. One of the great advantages is the proximity to the park and to the Junction, Toronto’s neighborhood that is named after the junction of four railway lines, and which brings together artisan breweries and decoration stores.

The Beach

This is a region famous for its four beaches located on the shores of Lake Ontario, which attracts thousands of tourists during the summer. The neighborhood is home to eclectic houses and is also marked by different artistic events on weekends during the entire high season, such as jazz festivals and other musical and artistic shows.

Loma House

This is a neighborhood of very traditional Canadian mansions and families, but it also has well maintained buildings with apartments to rent. All residents gather at Winston Churchill Park, where students play soccer and dogs can play loose in a large open area.

All these 135 restaurants are considered Haute Gastronomy and people who frequent this type of restaurant are people who have purchasing power to buy a cleaning service.
